Cardiac valve diseases are changes in the heart valves. These can be acquired or congenial. The congenial ones are extremely rare, and they occur only in 3% of all people. The acquired cardiac valve diseases are often caused by wearout, sometimes also by inflammations. One can diffentiate between too narrow valves or untight valves, a combined valve dysfuntion can occur as well. The complaints are diverse. A cardial diagnostics should always be carried out, this way the decision whether a further treatment is necessary can be made, and the procedure will also be well documented.
